Ziekenhuis Geel
The website of the Flemish city of Geel’s hospital’s was in dire need of an update and the visitor experience was increasingly out of sync with the needs of patients and visitors.
Studio Lastpak asked us to create a new design for the hospital website; clean typography, a clear structure and layout, and a user experience that meets today’s expectations. Information had to be easier to find, and the overall design had to exude a sense of calm and trust—naturally, even on mobile devices.
We designed a new online style guide and, based on wireframes, further developed the main pages into a working Figma prototype for user testing and validation with stakeholders.
The typography and colour palette were deliberately kept minimal to support the site’s goal of giving visitors quick access to hospital services. Fresh, uplifting tones add warmth, ensuring the overall experience feels clear yet welcoming.
The existing website included extensive information on services, departments, and medical staff. To bring clarity and consistency, we designed tailored page templates for the various sections and content types.
Mobile versions were designed for every page and component, enabling developers to build a fully responsive site that adapts seamlessly to all screen sizes.
