Goedele iPad Mag.

Sanoma Magazines Belgium, the publisher of the personality magazine ‘Goedele’, contracted us to work on the iPad version of the magazine.

We were responsible for ‘translating’ each issue of ‘Goedele’ to an innovative magazine app using Woodwing Digital Publishing tools and adding animations and interactivity with HTML5, Javascript and Webkit Transitions. Each issue needed to be created in approximately ten days after the paper magazine was finished.

Unfortunately the magazine was cancelled in November 2011 due to a lack of advertisers; and the iPad-app was cancelled along with it. In the year the app was published though, it received a lot of acclaim and was given a four-star rating by the McPheters app-monitor; ranking it in the top 8 of magazine apps world-wide.
